Find it, remove it,stop it coming back
Mold is a moisture problem first. Alliance finds the growth and tracks down the leak or moisture behind it, removes contaminated materials under containment and treats what remains, then tells you exactly what needs repairing so it doesn't return.
Inspection
Certified inspectors identify the extent of growth and the moisture sources.
Air testing
Air sampling to understand spore levels and confirm results after remediation.
Containment
Affected areas isolated under negative pressure to prevent cross-contamination.
Removal
Mold-affected materials removed and bagged for disposal.
Antimicrobial treatment
Remaining surfaces cleaned and treated.
Drying & prevention
Affected areas dried, with clear recommendations on the repairs needed to prevent regrowth.

Hazmat-gradecontainment
Willy Irwin and Alliance were the first in Chico, and among the first anywhere, to be properly trained and certified for mold work, in 2003. Mold jobs often overlap with water damage, sewage and other contamination, so Alliance brings IICRC water damage certification, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER crews, a NIOSH-approved respirator program and 30 years of containment work to every job.
“Alliance is in a different league.”

Do I need professional mold remediation?
Small areas can sometimes be handled by owners, but larger areas, mold in HVAC systems, mold from sewage or contaminated water, and mold in occupied commercial or public buildings are best handled by trained professionals.
Will you find the moisture source?
Yes. Finding the leak or moisture source is a big part of what we do, and Willy is one of the best at it. We're not a building contractor, so we don't repair roofs or plumbing ourselves, but we'll tell you exactly what needs fixing so the mold doesn't come back.
Do you do testing?
Yes. Certified inspectors identify the extent of growth and can perform air testing.
How long have you done mold work?
Since 2003. Willy Irwin and Alliance were the first in Chico, and among the first anywhere, to be properly trained and certified for mold work. We also hold IICRC Water Damage Restoration certification.
Are you water-damage certified?
Yes. Alliance holds IICRC Water Damage Restoration certification, and crews are OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER trained.
Where do you work?
Alliance is based in Chico and works throughout California.
