Mold testing &air sampling
Testing tells you how big the problem is, where it's coming from, and later, whether remediation actually worked.
DOSH
Smell it butcan't see it?
Visible mold is only part of the story. A musty smell, past water damage, or symptoms that improve when you leave the building can all point to hidden growth inside walls, under floors or in HVAC. Inspection and air sampling help define the problem before anyone starts tearing out materials.
Testing after remediation matters too. Post-remediation air sampling helps confirm the work was successful before the space is put back into use.
Hidden growth
Odors and moisture with no visible mold.
After water damage
Leaks, floods and plumbing failures that may have started growth.
Post-remediation
Verification that remediation worked.
What testingincludes
Inspection
Visual inspection and moisture source identification.
Sampling
Air and, where useful, surface sampling.
Lab analysis
Samples analyzed by a laboratory.
Findings
A clear report of what was found and recommended next steps.
Mold TestingFAQ
Do I always need testing?
Not always. If mold is visible and the cause is clear, remediation can often proceed. Testing helps when growth is hidden, extent is unclear, or you need verification.
Is there a legal safe level of mold?
There are no federal limits for mold in indoor air. Results are interpreted by comparing indoor and outdoor samples and looking at the moisture situation.
Can you test after another company's work?
Yes. Post-remediation testing can verify any remediation job.
Do you fix the moisture problem?
We identify it and address the root cause or recommend the right fix.
